Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Work For Future platform ("Platform"), including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Work For Future Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales.

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

To access certain features of the Services, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate or incomplete information.

The Platform connects purpose-driven professionals ("Talent") with mission-aligned companies ("Employers") across impact sectors including climate, AI ethics, health, and education. Our Services include talent profile creation, job listing management, AI-powered mission matching, community features, and related tools. You agree to use the Platform solely for its intended purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

As a Talent user, you agree to provide truthful information in your profile, including your skills, experience, causes, and employment preferences. You understand that creating a profile does not guarantee employment or job matches. You retain ownership of your profile data and may delete your account at any time. By applying to roles through the Platform, you authorise us to share your profile information with the relevant Employer for the purpose of evaluating your candidacy.

As an Employer, you agree to post only genuine job opportunities and to provide accurate descriptions of the role, compensation, and company mission. You must not use the Platform to collect personal data for purposes other than recruitment. You are solely responsible for your hiring decisions and compliance with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws. Any employment relationship formed through the Platform is exclusively between you and the Talent; the Company is not a party to such agreements.

Our AI-powered Mission-Match engine analyses profile data, skills, values, and cause alignment to generate match scores between Talent and Employers. Match scores are provided as recommendations only and do not constitute guarantees of suitability, employment outcomes, or cultural fit. We continuously improve our matching algorithms but make no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of match results. You acknowledge that matching decisions are supplemented by, and not a substitute for, your own due diligence.

Certain Services may be subject to fees as described on our Pricing page. For Employer subscription plans, fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Success fees, where applicable, are due upon the confirmed hire of a candidate sourced through the Platform. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days prior notice. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy, available upon request.

All content, features, and functionality of the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and the underlying code, are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any Platform content without our prior written consent. The Work For Future name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of the Company.

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Platform ("User Content"), including profile information, job listings, messages, and feedback. By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with operating and improving the Services. You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information; (d) harvest or collect user data without consent; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure; (f) circumvent any security measures; (g) use automated tools to scrape content or data from the Platform; (h) engage in discriminatory practices in hiring or job seeking; (i) transmit malware or other harmful code; or (j) violate our Community Guidelines.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification obligations. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any User Content, job listings, or company profiles. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred pounds sterling (GBP 100). This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim arises.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Services, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Services.
